Inspired by the mountains and growers around us, this bar is a blend of lavender grown by Blue Canyon in Heber City, Utah and dried juniper berries. Both ingredients are finely ground into our Mid Mountain Blend giving a floral, aromatic finish that lingers on the tongue and conjures up the scent of a high mountain meadow.

Inspired by the Mountains

Juniper Lavender grew from a simple idea: we wanted to create a chocolate that captured the experience of being in the Utah mountains.

Juniper berries were always front of mind, with their distinctive piney, aromatic flavors that evoke the high desert and mountain landscapes around us. We spent a lot of time experimenting with how to soften and balance it before landing on lavender.

The combination worked beautifully. Lavender brings a gentle floral character that lifts the deeper, woodsy notes of juniper, while our 70% Mid Mountain Blend provides a rich chocolate foundation underneath.

The result is floral and aromatic without overwhelming the chocolate. It’s a bar that reminds us of the scent of a high mountain meadow.
