Happy Cinco de Mayo!

To celebrate we love to create this traditional Mole Poblano recipe from incredible chef Mely Martinez (instagram @mexicoinmykitchen) using our Mexico origin chocolate.

Cinco de Mayo celebrations originated in Puebla to celebrate the Anniversary of the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican war. Puebla is considered by many to be the culinary capital of Mexico, and Mole Poblano is one of the most consumed dishes during the celebration alongside Chiles en Nogada.

Mole Poblano is one of the most incredible dishes we've experienced: a blend of rich flavors and spices to create one of the best sauces in the world. This dish requires time and care to make and it worth every step. Make sure to give Mely Martinez a follow and subscribe to her newsletter, she’s a wonderful chef.

Have a wonderful holiday!
